Cooking Class - Mexican Corn Masterpieces

Go beyond the cob and appreciate how wonderfully corn transforms in traditional Mexican cuisine.

In this hands-on class, Chef Renee highlights the best ways to employ corn's succulent simplicity, pulling concepts from Michael Pollan's work as inspiration for this in-depth culinary experience.

Begin with a classic Mexican street food of elotes — sweet and salty grilled corn slathered in a creamy chili and lime-spiked sauce with queso balnco. Then, you are graced with the glorious opportunity to fashion fresh corn tortillas from masa harina. You will also get to choose from several corn-laden Mexican entrées, plus, fresh guacamole and salsa.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
