Chef Evan demonstrates how simple sushi making can be with a lineup of fresh, simple ingredients, proper instruction, and a little bit of practice. You will develop a sound foundation of the traditions and techniques of sushi that will set you up for success.
Working with Chef Evan, you will prepare sushi rice, sushi rolls (maki), inside-out rolls (uramaki), and nigiri. Modern classics like the California roll and spicy tuna roll make an appearance. Plus, you will learn how to cut and present fresh sashimi like a true itamae.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
