Cooking Class - Signature Dumpling Techniques
In this hands-on cooking class, you'll learn how to prepare dumplings by hand from wrappers and fillings to a variety of folding techniques. Begin with a blind tasting of soy sauces from across Asia to explore the essential element of umami, then apply your experience to a slow-cooked chicken braise.
Knead and roll out the dough for your dumpling skins, then practice pleating the edges around a juicy beef filling. Vibrant chili sauce, savory vegetables and a traditional red bean dessert round out this dinner party feast.
