If you love cooking with the best of the season, this interactive cooking class in Austin is made for you. With Chef Karen or a resident chef guiding you through each step, you'll prepare cedar plank salmon with blackberry sauce, assemble a golden beet and haricot vert salad and bake soft focaccia with sweet onions and herbs. You'll wrap up the experience with a dark cherry hazelnut sundae while picking up practical techniques for flavor pairing and baking. Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

After pursuing culinary school and retiring from teaching, Chef Karen became a chef instructor in 2019. Promoted to Culinary Lead in 2020, she continued to excel, recently stepping into the role of Resident Chef. Working as a Chef Instructor has rekindled her passion for food and sharing culinary knowledge with every guest she meets.

I’m no longer intimidated by preparing a Beef Wellington thanks to Chef Karen! Chef walked us through each step of preparation and voila! The best Beef Wellington accompanied by green beans and mashed potatoes! I’ll be making this menu for my family soon!
