Celebrate amore in this indulgent Italian cooking class in Houston. Learn to prepare shrimp scampi served over fresh homemade spaghetti, toss a crisp shaved radish, fennel and herb salad and finish the evening with a rustic pear crostata topped with clouds of whipped cream. Along the way, Chef Jaken or one of the talented resident chefs will guide you in mastering homemade pasta dough from scratch. This romantic cooking class in Houston is the perfect date night activity, blending delicious flavors with hands-on fun. Whether it’s your first date or your hundredth, you’ll create tasty memories together.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

After attending culinary school, he began his professional career, learning a variety of culinary trades from gourmet chefs. Chef Jaken has created his own cooking techniques over the years and continues to push himself past his limits in the kitchen. The chef was very nice and attentive and answered all of our questions. Understand that there is not a ton of time but I would have liked to have seen some of the prep work (at least an overview). For example, we made gnocchi but did not learn how to prepare the potatoes (we were just given them ready to go) and returned from break with them cooked and in the sauce. Would have liked at least a quick overview of the steps: cooking gnocchi, ricing the potatoes... and any little tips for those steps. Other than, it was a great experience and looking forward to my next class!

Chef Stuart was great! We truly enjoyed our fist cooking class date night. Chef shared a few cooking tips, which we appreciated. And he has a great sense of humor ? we took a group picture which I would love to share and will send via email. Thanks for a great night.

It was a great experience, the taste of the food we prepared was amazing, I was really blown away. I just wish that the set up would be in a way that each participant would do all the steps rather than sharing a set up with other participant.

Chef was great, I just feel that the context of the class was very poor. Nothing to excited. The dessert was definitely not the best. Coming from NYC and being in the catering business my expectations were high.

There was no class at the venue I booked. Chef was a no show!!! We got a confirmation an hour before class with the location booked. We showed up and the venue said Cozy had not reserved the class for 1pm today. Very disappointing...especially for a valentines day present.

This was the first time for me to take a cooking class. I look forward to doing it again! The chef was very enthusiastic and explained the process well as we worked. I came away feeling I can do this again at home and look forward to homemade pasta dishes.
