It is said that variety is the spice of life.
This is especially true in a culinary sense as properly-prepared sauces breath flavorful new life into each meal. In a welcoming class environment free from intimidation, Chef Eric bring his professional background to provide you the insights to add that extra bit of sumptuousness to each dish, whether it be in the form of small bites, sides, main courses, and beyond! Enjoy classic favorites like macaroni and cheese, steamed vegetables, and your choice of chicken or fish to make for a truly mouthwatering experience.
Your class begins by learning to make the Mother Sauces; creamy béchamel, luscious veloute, delicious hollandaise, and zesty basil pesto sauce. Your experience continues with creating scrumptious green olive and caper tapenade, savory roasted eggplant and garlic sauce, appetizing Mediterranean tamarind-almond sauce, spicy Indian-style tomato-onion sauce and tantalizing Asian-style sesame sauce.
Please note that the eating portion of this class will be towards the end of the class.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Meet your chef
A native of Los Angeles, Chef Eric graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. He has staged with Chef Jose Munisa at Via Veneto, Barcelona’s longest-running 5-star restaurant and Chef Joseph Russwürm at Munich’s Hotel Kempinski. While trained in the culinary classics, Chef Eric enjoys teaching a broad range of cuisines in his classes while integrating the importance of technique with his students.
