Cooking Class - Flavors of the Tuscan Summer

What You'll Do

Why fly to Italy when you could rustle up a Tuscan summer feast at home?.

Leave your passport at home — thanks to this dedicated cooking class, you won’t need it to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine! In fact, you’ll learn how to make it for yourself, learning from a renowned chef how to prepare a sun-soaked al fresco menu. Recipes include polenta bites with arugula pesto, marinated steak grilled to perfection and served with salsa verde and a vibrant summer farro salad. For dessert? Some light, refreshing and decidedly summery scoops of lemon mascarpone ice cream.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


After pursuing culinary school and retiring from teaching, Chef Karen became a chef instructor in 2019. Promoted to Culinary Lead in 2020, she continued to excel, recently stepping into the role of Resident Chef. Working as a Chef Instructor has rekindled her passion for food and sharing culinary knowledge with every guest she meets.

I’m no longer intimidated by preparing a Beef Wellington thanks to Chef Karen! Chef walked us through each step of preparation and voila! The best Beef Wellington accompanied by green beans and mashed potatoes! I’ll be making this menu for my family soon!
