Cooking Class - Two Michelin Star Donut Class

Create luscious donuts, beignets, and churros!

Take a decadent tour of donuts by handcrafting three mouthwatering fried desserts! Chef Ryan will share his incredible tips and techniques for flawless donuts, churros, and beignets.

Start with a fresh strawberry donut made with homemade brioche dough, painted with a gorgeous ripe strawberry glaze. Next, try a new take on a classic recipe with a batch of old fashioned donuts glazed with chocolate. A cinnamon-sugar spiked churro, made with dulce de leche and a vanilla crema, completes this sweet feast.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Although born and raised in San Jose, I have studied varied cuisines and was trained in baking and pastry at the Ritz Carlton, before moving back to the Bay Area. I have worked as Pastry Chef at Chez TJ which held two Michelin stars and as Chef de Cuisine of Baume Restaurant, which also earned two Michelin stars during my time there. My dishes are founded in comfort, thanks to my Italian heritage, and imbued with grace thanks to my classical French training.
