Couples Cooking Class - Mediterranean Mezze for 2

Bring your date and learn how to create your own Mediterranean mezze platter.

The word “mezze” means a variety of small plates that are enjoyed as appetizers or snacks to accompany drinks. In this class, Chef Jillian will show you some of her favorite recipes to make a homemade platter of delicious Mediterranean treats.

You’ll learn how to make five of Chef Jillian’s best mezze recipes, starting with a fresh carrot hummus and za’atar pita crisps. Next, you’ll fry up some falafel cakes made from scratch and served with a lemon-buttermilk tahini sauce. Harissa chicken kebabs are also on the menu and will be served with a mint-parsley chermoula. Chef Jillian will also show you how to make her variation of tabbouleh with butternut squash, cucumbers, juicy pomegranate, and fresh herbs. Last but not least, you will roast up some eggplant and serve it with whipped feta, honey, and sumac.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
