Cooking Class - Make Your Own Kimchi

Chef Stacey, an expert in food and nutrition, will teach you the tricks to making restaurant-quality kimchi and provide an informative lecture covering everything you need to know about this versatile condiment.

In this class, you’ll learn the benefits of kimchi as well as Stacey’s fail proof method to create it with your new counter top fermentation device. Next, you’ll put it to use in a breakfast-ready kimchi frittata with creamy avocado and crunchy sprouts. Students leave the class with a one-quart jar of kimchi to take home as well as some new equipment to aid in future kimchi making.

Attending Chef Stacey's home for a cooking class is like walking into a magazine editorial- her space is absolutely AMAZING. From the kitchen to the patio to the garden, her place is the perfect space to host a cooking class. Chef Stacey is extremely passionate about healthy food and I learned so much from her. The lecture was very informative and the food was absolutely delicious.

Chef Stacey was warm and welcoming and invited us to see her garden and feed her chickens before class. My adult kids and I learned a lot of good information about pre- and probiotics . The class had a nice balance of lecture and hands on experience where we prepared the krauts and the gluten-free bread. She was extremely organized and efficient and very passionate about what she does, We really enjoyed the entire experience and appreciate her expertise and look forward to eating the krauts and the bread.
