After picking up some wine from the store, you’ll learn how to make mushroom and leek crostini, coq au vin, braised potato and root vegetables, and finish with poached pears and sabayon.

Great class. I will be taking more. The new facility in Santa Monica is amazing. Chef Gill is great instructor. Very patient and involved.
Meet your chef
Chef Gill’s culinary background is an impressive one. He began his career 32 years ago when he worked as dishwasher and line cook in Washington, D.C. After high school, he attended Johnson and Wales University, the Cordon Bleu Paris and finished an externship in the United Kingdom. He then headed to New York City where he worked in small restaurants before landing in L.A. where he worked at a restaurant and taught at Le Cordon Bleu Los Angeles.
