Cooking Class - Classics From the Yucatan Peninsula
In this interactive cooking class, Chef Jessy will guide you through learning the delicacies of making authentic Yucatan dishes.
Begin by creating fried masa with fresh ingredients like maseca, corn, jalapeños and cilantro, and a vibrant shrimp ceviche with lime, red onions, pineapple and cilantro. For the main course, learn how to marinate thinly sliced pork shoulder in citrus, garlic and habanero peppers, which you'll grill on an open flame or in a cast iron pan and enjoy with plantains. Finish by hand-forming churros so light they melt in your mouth.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
