Cooking Class - Signature Flavors of Nigeria

Create the aromatic dishes of Nigerian cuisine with a professional chef leading the way.

In this hands-on cooking class, learn how to make authentic, flavorful Nigerian dishes. Chef Chris will teach you smart culinary techniques as you use fresh ingredients to create three classic courses.

To begin the class, you'll make efo riro, a dish of amaranth greens, scotch bonnet peppers and shrimp. Make a chicken stew with peppers, tomatoes, curry powder and paprika, traditional jollof rice infused with scotch bonnet peppers and ginger and dodo, or sweet fried plantain. For dessert, handcraft skuku skuku, or sweet coconut balls.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Chris' class was very enjoyable! He had everything set up ahead of time so we could jump right into the cooking, but left time for questions and conversations along the way. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun way to spend some time together. The meal was delicious and he helped where needed to keep the experience fun.
