Begin on an aromatic note by preparing miso scones with a jam made of yuzu, a fruit known for its citrus flavor. Next, utilize basic sushi techniques to assemble two handcrafted rolls using Japanese milk bread in place of rice. Conclude the experience with a Japanese spin on a classic French crêpe by incorporating matcha for an added note of earthiness.

The class was fun and relaxed. Chef Melissa is knowledgeable and has a great personality too! My husband and I had never taken a cooking class before and weren’t sure what to expect, but enjoyed this experience. The chef put us at ease right away. It was interactive and hands on. We got to be as creative as we wanted to. Also played zone fun games at the end. Great unique date night idea.

We had an absolutely amazing time with Chef Melissa. Not only is she a great chef and instructor, but she also has amazing energy. Throughout the course of the evening, we enjoyed some delicious Japanese food, had some great conversation, and played some of Chef Melissa's homegrown challenges. We'd attend another one of Chef Melissa's cooking classes in a heartbeat!
