Bring the magic of French countryside dining to your home table.
The intriguing culinary techniques perfected by beloved American chef Julia Child come to life in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Doug. He adds modern touches to her methods and recipes for a French country meal that's both classic and contemporary.
Begin by preparing soft and savory cheese puffs followed by traditional boeuf bourguignon accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts brought to life with butter, lemon and olive oil. For dessert, you'll create île flottante, one of Julia's personal favorites, featuring meringue and seasonal fruit resting atop a bowl of fresh custard.
