Cooking Class - Seasonal Classic Pastry Techniques
In this interactive cooking class, Chef Christina shares her wealth of experience and training in the pastry arts. Drawing inspiration from seasonal flavors and festive desserts, you will learn the skills and techniques to create three dessert masterpieces.
First, handcraft French macarons spiced with ginger and molasses, and buttery, orange-scented Linzer cookies with a tart cranberry filling. Finish your class by learning the time-honored secrets to creating a crisp and crumbly chocolate crust for decadent mini-tarts filled with crème pâtissière flavored with kirsh, a rich dark chocolate ganache and sugared cherries.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
