Learn traditional sushi-making skills you need to recreate your favorite sushi dishes at home.
Join Chef Albert for a beginner's sushi-making class, where you'll learn professional techniques for handcrafting sushi as you create authentic dishes together.
First, you'll learn how to make the perfect sushi rice before beginning on your first course: Tuna sashimi. You'll marinate the tuna as well as properly slice the fish for sashimi with Chef Albert as your guide. Next, practice your slicing and dicing to create an elegant dragon roll filled with crab and topped with eel sauce. Finally, prepare a sweet sushi roll using fresh fruit.
This sushi-making class will be held inside the Price Chopper supermarket.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Albert taught me how to make a dragon and california sushi rolls. He was very precise on how he rolled the sushi using the bamboo device which shaped the sushi perfectly. He also taught me how to cut the roll. He was very passionate about sushi as he owns his own restaurant. The presentation of the final result was a very important step as well. He topped the sushi with a homemade eel sauce and sesame seeds. It looks delicious!

His culinary experience includes time spent as a traveling sushi chef and the manager of a sushi restaurant before becoming a franchisee of his own sushi bar. He offers endless energy as he shares his knowledge of sushi creation with students of all skill levels. Chef Albert is excited to help others master his chosen art and experience the happiness food preparation brings.
