Learn insider secrets of how to make fresh pasta in this fun cooking class!

Get hands-on, pasta-making experience in this four-course cooking class with Chef Roger, where you'll mix and knead pasta dough and cut two different shapes using a pasta machine.

As Chef Roger teaches you how to prepare the dough, you'll learn about the flours used and why they make great pasta. After cutting your dough, prepare classic bolognese sauce, and a fresh spinach and mushroom pasta dish. To round out the meal, you'll make a simple vinaigrette to enjoy over fresh greens, and traditional chewy Italian almond cookies.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Fresh Greens

Dressed with handmade vinaigrette

Pasta Dough

With flour, eggs, water, olive oil and salt

Beef and Pork Bolognese

With tomatoes, onion, carrots, garlic, bay leaf and cream (optional)

Spinach and Mushrooms

With garlic and oil

Chef Roger was amazingly patient and so educational! He was personable and hospitable as well! We learned great knife care and handling as well as why you’re using which pot etc… we loved our intimate experience and our food came out great! Will def return with more of our friends..

Cooking with Chef Roger was such a delight! He was fun, lighthearted, and patient. Not only did we learn how to make the recipes, but Roger shared interesting food science tidbits as we cooked. We had a really excellent time! It was super easy to get to his neighborhood, and we were wowed by the great views of the city.

100% a great night. Wonderful experience where we learned new skills and information about the food. He made us feel comfortable and entertained the whole night. You can tell he puts a lot of time and work into the class and it was completely worth it. Would absolutely take another one of his classes!

Chef Roger is a professional through and through. He is a seasoned cooking instructor and anyone who works with him can tell! His teaching style is very approachable and he takes time to explain helpful techniques that will definitely help me in my own cooking for years to come. He is very friendly and a lot of fun to work with. I highly recommend Chef Roger to anyone in the NYC area.

Chef Roger was very knowledgeable in everything.I learned how to make the macarons....... He was, precise, calm, and organized. A real pro! I will definitely return for other classes. When I left I felt very proud of the results. I was there with my son, and we both felt the same way.

My Grandma and I had the most wonderful night with Chef Roger! I got her the cooking class as a Christmas present and she absolutely loved it. Chef Roger's house was so warm and inviting and we got to learn so much about some delicious chocolate. I will definitely be doing another class with him the first chance I get!

Had a wonderful evening learning knife skills with Chef Roger. He is a great teacher and made the experience super fun. We cooked an Asian meal, which was wonderful. I think I can finally dice an onion properly .
