WHAT YOU’LL DO

Create a stunning gourmet meal featuring your favorite Chinese dishes.

Add upscale flair to your favorite Chinese fare in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Mordechai. You'll learn how to think outside of the take-out box and find new sophistication in the simplest of recipes.

Begin by filling and folding potstickers dumplings with chicken, beef or vegetables. You'll then brew authentic hot and sour soup with tofu and mushrooms. Then, you'll prepare General Tso or Kung Pao chicken with ginger, soy sauce, chilis and fresh Cantonese noodles peppered with vegetables and onions.

All recipes are prepared using Kosher ingredients and include a vegan option.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Are you sure it's kosher? It's a strange compliment, but Mordechai takes inspiration from the world. Not many kosher chefs are willing to (or able) to get away from the typical menus. We have never had anything we wouldn't order again (and again and again and again). I know I can get the same ingredients and try on my own. But Mordechai knows how to make those ingredients into magic.
