Cooking Class - Authentic Sushi
Get a taste of Japanese cuisine across several courses of traditional dishes in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Maria. You'll learn how to create Japanese favorites, including a crunchy shrimp tempura, sticky sushi rice for the rolls, and peppery and aromatic pickled ginger.
Chef Maria will guide you through perfecting spicy tuna using big eye sushi-grade tuna, togarashi, sesame oil, sesame seeds and soy sauce, and then combining your courses to create a spicy tuna roll with nori sheets, sushi rice, avocado and English cucumber.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
