Master Chef Kristine’s secrets to making a charming pastel pink cake from scratch.
In this hands-on class, Chef Kristine will demonstrate how to blanket homemade cakes with perfectly colored icing and edible decorations.
The class begins with creating homemade cake batter (baking is demonstration only) followed by preparing a Swiss meringue buttercream. Next, you'll whip up a white chocolate ganache that you'll use to blanket the top of the cake. Continue sharpening your cake-decorating skills while learning how to adorn your cakes with cheerful decorations and pink, white and red candies, meringues and marshmallows dusted with edible glitter. All guests will receive a recipe card and a take-home jar of dry cake mix ingredients to bake at home. Children are also welcome to join the class.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
