In this hands-on class, you will cook a delicious Southern meal that showcases ingredients and cultural influences unique to the region.

Chef Camellia’s emblematic menu features traditional dishes of Southern cuisine, such as a toothsome yet moist cornbread paired with a sweet and savory Vidalia onion jam, and classic andouille sausage and chicken gumbo. She will also share her secret to creating a rich, zesty and authentically Cajun roux. A chocolate chess pie will be made for dessert, featuring a perfectly flaky butter crust and a decadent chocolate filling.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Camellia's food is familiar and comforting, yet elevated. She is great at teaching as well as being a great hostess and a great cook! I loved her food and her personality was warm and welcoming. I would definitely love to do another class with her!

I took one of Camellia's pie classes when in the Atlanta area and it was fabulous! We learned how to make an all butter crust as well as the filling and a savory pie. Now I feel confident to make my own pies with the tips and tricks she showed me!
