Cooking Class - Southwestern Brunch Menu

Discover a hearty Southwestern brunch menu that seamlessly weaves together sweet, savory, and spicy elements.

In this hands-on class with Chef Jason, you will learn how to prepare a hearty three-course Southwestern brunch menu by fusing classic culinary techniques with popular Southwestern ingredients.

Chef Jason will begin by teaching you how to create beautiful and colorful sweet potato hash cakes featuring chorizo and bell peppers. Then, you will learn how to poach the perfect egg, make your own hollandaise sauce, and how to caramelize onions for an explosively flavorful Southwestern eggs benedict with carne asada before ending with a stick-to-your-ribs bourbon bread pudding.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

The space of this venue is incredible. A lot of natural light and space is available in this professional kitchen set up. Chef Jason, has great experience and is willing to give one on one help to make sure students understand what he is teaching. His passion really shows through his cooking, it felt more like art than just food.

For the past five years, Chef Jason has been the Executive Chef and Dietary Manager of a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Mesa, Arizona. Chef Jason is also passionate about using his education and experience to empower others to become confident in the kitchen via cooking classes!
