As a country devoted to living the good life, the culinary traditions of Spain are certainly swoon-worthy.
In this hands-on class with Chef Ashok, you will learn all about Spain's unique and delicious culinary traditions as you work your way through the preparation of four traditional Spanish dishes.
Chef Ashok will begin by teaching you the secrets to transforming a tomato, a single cove of garlic, a drizzle of fruity Spanish olive oil, and some crusty bread into an unbelievable tapas dish. You will also learn how to prepare chicken in Spanish orange sauce, a traditional seafood paella redolent of saffron, and a classic Spanish custard for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

It was a pleasure to both watch Chef Ashok cook and then dine on his creations. He has so much worldly cooking experience and it shows. French, Spanish, Indian, etc. My favorite was the chicken kabobs, marinated in spices and cream cheese, skewered with vegetables and then quickly broiled. So moist and flavorful. I need the recipe for that one. What a neat class space, in an actual school culinary classroom straight out of the 50's! Would definitely learn from Chef Ashok again.

After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu with high honors, Chef Ashok went on to gain experience in Spanish cuisine working with Michelin starred chefs in Bilbao and San Sebastian. Chef Ashok also honed the art of perfection and culinary discipline while working with renowned French and Italian chefs in Australia. Chef Ashok enjoys employing his creativity designing custom themed modern fusion dinners and hosting cooking classes.
