Cooking Class - New Takes on Classic Italian

Discover new and creative ways to build flavors and stunning presentations with classic Italian dishes.

In this hands-on class with Chef Kurt, you will learn how to prepare an impressive four-course Italian menu featuring classic dishes transformed with creative flavor profiles and presentations.

Chef Kurt will begin by teaching you the knife skills needed to create wafer thin slices of filet mignon for a carpaccio appetizer, and how to make homemade dressing for the most flavor forward Caesar salad you've ever tasted. For your entree, you'll prepare a penne arrabbiata con salsiccia before ending on a sweet note.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Kurt was great! He arrived early and brought everything needed for the meal, to supplement my bare kitchen. He was pleasant to chat with and let us make the meal at our pace... and when we started taking too long, he chipped in to allow us to eat (the meal was great, we made everything from scratch, including the croutons and caesar dressing). Finally, I had no clean-up to do after the meal, Kurt left the kitchen cleaner than when I moved in. Would definitely use him again!
