It is all about taking humble ingredients and transforming them into intriguing and amazing flavors. You'll have the unique opportunity to prepare authentic Vietnamese dishes such as shrimp spring rolls with mint and grilled pork, grilled lemongrass chicken or pork with jasmine rice, and a luscious flan for dessert. My husband and I took a cooking class (Vietnamese Cuisine) with Chef Roger--he is the BEST!!! An enthusiastic teacher, amazing/creative chef, and completely accommodated my dietary needs. His use of fresh, local (some from his backyard gardens!), and HIGH quality ingredients made our experience incredible. He was kind and patient and helped us learn cool hacks/techniques that will really enable us to replicate these dishes at home. We will DEFINITELY be using Cozymeal again--and 100% taking more classes with Chef Roger!

It was a very fun evening with us learning how to cook some very basic but delicious Vietnamese meals. The recipes are easy which means that we can replicate them!

Chef Roger provided a wonderful cooking experience. We signed up for Vietnamese cooking because we wanted to learn how to make the sauce for Vietnamese vermicelli dishes. After he showed us that he made peanut sauce using that as a base and went on to describe how to use the sauces and variants with many dishes. He prepared shrimp, chicken and pork dishes, all excellent. He is very personable, engaging and knowledgeable. I highly recommend taking his class!

Chef Roger began his culinary career over 15 years ago as a line cook in the kitchen of one of the most buzzed about restaurants in New York City. After moving to the West Coast, Chef Roger continued climbing the food chain, graduating from line cook to a highly esteemed executive chef for large corporations. Chef Roger is passionate about sharing his culinary wisdom with others in a variety of cooking classes!
