Chef Gustavo will provide you with everything you need to prepare in his incredible three-course Latin fusion menu, including both the tips, techniques and the exotic ingredients that are foundational to Latin cooking. From a punchy, refreshing Cuban-style ceviche all the way to a dessert of artisan churros, this class promises to be nothing short of spectacular.

Our experience with Chef Gustavo was fantastic! We learned so many amazing techniques and cooking tidbits throughout the evening, and the food we prepared under his guidance was delicious! We now have a deep appreciation for Paella and can’t wait to work on our own dish. We truly were treated like the Ched’s dinner guests for the evening, and his passion for cooking really shows. Latin American cuisine is what Chef Gustavo is all about. As the owner and executive chef of Rumba Café in Adams Morgan for 20 years, he understands this cuisine more than anything else. He draws his inspiration from his own travels through Latin America, the Caribbean, France, Spain and more. He studied at L’ Academie de Cuisine and is knowledgeable in French cuisine as well. He is available to teach classes in both English and Spanish.
