Team Building Activity - Japanese Tapas

What You’ll Do

Bond with your team over the creativity and innovation emanating from this incredible fusion experience.

There is no better way to bond with one another than over an extraordinary culinary experience. Izakata, also known as a Japanese tapas bar, is the ideal way to achieve just that.

In this hands-on class, Chef Shinya will lead you and your team as you work together to create some of the Pacific Northwest Izakaya's staple menu items, such as miso marinated wild salmon, and garlic edamame and onigiri. You and your colleagues will finish the class with vegan panna cotta topped with matcha syrup and red bean paste.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We had a great time! The experienced cooks learned some new tricks, and the new cooks got involved as well!

My husband and I attended the sushi making class. It was extremely informative and we learned SO MUCH. Chef was very patient and extremely knowledgeable about the history of sushi making and the whole process of sushi-making. We were there for almost 4 hours and standing the whole time. So eat beforehand bc you won’t be eating until around 8:30-9ish. Highly recommend this experience!
