Make beautiful macarons in this fun team building activity with Chef Marie-Anne.

In this team building activity, you and your team trade the conference room for a kitchen and turn classic French macarons into cute characters. You will start with macaron history and the three simple ingredients behind every shell, then whip up a silky Swiss meringue together.


Next, your team folds the batter, tints it, pipes shapes with a variety of tips and brings each character to life with adorable little details before filling the macarons with rich chocolate ganache and seasonal buttercream. By the end, your team will share a tray of one-of-a-kind characters and a well-earned taste test. Book your team building activity today!

Your Menu

Step 1: Learn the Macaron Basics
Discover the history of macarons and the three simple ingredients behind them
Step 2: Whip Swiss Meringue
With egg white and sugar
Step 3: Fold the Batter (Macaronage)
With almond flour, powdered sugar and Swiss meringue
Step 4: Color the Batter
With macaron batter and food coloring
Step 5: Pipe Different Shapes
With piping bags and piping tips in assorted sizes
Step 6: Decorate Your Macaron Shells
Add colorful patterns and playful details to your piped shells
Step 7: Make the Fillings

With chocolate, heavy whipping cream and butter
Seasonal Buttercream Filling
With butter, powdered sugar and a seasonal flavor of vanilla, strawberry, matcha, coffee or peppermint
