Team Building Activity - An Authentic Argentinian Feast

Explore the bright flavors and traditional ingredients of Argentinian cuisine in this team building class.

Under the expert guidance of Chef Gustavo, you and your team will learn the secrets behind four authentic recipes from Argentina, each of which is inspired by the traditions of the chef's Argentinian family.

The hands-on class begins with an Argentinian favorite, empanada casera stuffed with a number of fresh vegetables. Next, your team will prepare choripan served with chimichurri, before tackling canelones de pollo. For dessert, look forward to crafting panqueques de dulce de leche completely from scratch.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Gustavo was amazing. He told stories and charmed our group. This was a perfect event for a team building dinner that pushed people outside their comfort zones and showed people what they can accomplish. It was a unique experience I hope to share with more teams in the future.

Chef Gustavo was great and not only did we learn how to make the dishes, but also the history and culture behind the dishes. Additionally, I have a food allergy and he made the necessary (and authentic!) adjustments so I could cook and also eat. Highly recommend!

Latin American cuisine is what Chef Gustavo is all about. As the owner and executive chef of Rumba Café in Adams Morgan for 20 years, he understands this cuisine more than anything else. He draws his inspiration from his own travels through Latin America, the Caribbean, France, Spain and more. He studied at L’ Academie de Cuisine and is knowledgeable in French cuisine as well. He is available to teach classes in both English and Spanish.
