Team Building Activity - Handmade Sushi

Gather your team to learn the secrets to sushi made from scratch with Chef Ken.

Join Chef Ken on a culinary journey outside of the office! Begin with welcome hors d'oeuvres, then be guided through each step of the sushi-making process, and finish with a seated meal featuring the fruits of your labor.

Celebrate and learn authentic techniques to demystify the art of making sushi, including salmon avocado rolls and vegetable hand rolls studded with fresh ingredients. You and your team will leave with recipes to recreate the dishes at home — along with a renewed sense of team bonding. Dietary restrictions and allergies can be accommodated with advance notice.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Ken was very engaging and enthusiastic throughout the entirety of the class, which provided for a fun and exciting cooking experience. Meet your chef


A graduate of the French Culinary Institute, Ken has vast experience at top NYC restaurants, including Nobu 57, Shang, and ‘inoteca. Born and raised in Hawaii, Ken has a unique culinary background of Hawaiian and Asian fusion cuisine, and was making poke bowls long before they were trendy.
