In this hands-on team building cooking class, your group will learn how to make an authentic, gourmet Southern-style meal. Chef Jimi is your guide as you learn a variety of techniques used in Southern cooking.
Begin by learning how to make a red snapper croquette with creamy remoulade. For the main course, prepare a crunchy and savory-yet-sweet honey butter chicken dish with creamy, homemade grits infused with Parmesan. For dessert, you'll fry up a Southern favorite: Buttermilk apple fritters laced with cinnamon icing.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This was such a great experience! Chef Jimi was professional and answered all of our questions! Each meal course was divine!!!! He put a lot of thought and effort into each course. He also was so kind and cleaned up everything. I definitely recommend Chef Jimi! I hope to do this again soon.

Jimi is an excellent chef. He cooked for my husband and I on my husbands birthday and everything tasted amazing! Also the homemade ice cream was so good!

Chef Jimi was INCREDIBLE! He worked with us to do a sausage making class for my family. He was super accomidating to our special request, brought all of his own ingredients and left the kitchen cleaner than it was when he arrived! Chef Jimi was an absolute delight. I requested something special in honor of my partner's birthday and Chef Jimi definitely delivered. We had a 3 course cooking class where we were able to assist with cooking the meals, watch him demonstrate, and dive into some of the most delicious vegan dishes that I've ever had. He was so open to talking about his culinary career and answering our many cooking questions. Unfortunately, we had a significant time issue, but after the time that we did spend with him, I would still highly recommend him for your catering, cooking classes, or any other culinary needs. Thank you, Chef Jimi for showing up and showing out!

Chef Jimi was great! Very personable. His home-made ice cream was a hit, so delicious. Having him cook for us was the perfect experience for Valentine’s Day!

Chef Jimi was amazing!
He arrived right on time, and got straight to work. When dinner was ready, he served each course and explained in detail about the dish, the inspiration for it, how he prepared it. It was so cool to hear about that from him.
Each course was AMAZING - the red pepper salad, the croquets, the fried chicken, and the fried oreo ice cream! My husband and our friends are still raving about how awesome the dinner was - seriously some of the best food we've eaten. And the best part is that Chef Jimi made a lot and packed up the left overs for us.
When we were done he cleaned everything spotlessly. It was the best experience ever and could not recommend him more!
