My partner and I had such a wonderful time with chef Washington! We needed up making more food than expected and were so full by the end of the night. The chef even let us take home leftovers which wa ask thoughtful! I would absolutely recommend!

Chef Washington was so accommodating and helpful. I'd never rolled sushi or created a roll before and he was a great teacher. My partner was running late and he was flexible and made sure he was caught up and able to get the full experience. The sushi was great and the family atmosphere was very wholesome. Definitely an experience I'd recommend to anyone.

The cooking class exceeded our expectations. I booked it for my husband’s bday present and Chef Dean made the whole experience very special! Also, Chef Dean is from the same island, as my husband. He truly treated us like Ohana. The food was AMAZING. He sent us home with all of the leftovers, so we were able to share what we had created with family. One of the recipes in particular we’re excited to use as our go-to for family gatherings! It’s impressive but not overly complicated to make now that we’ve made it once. Highly recommend! Thanks Chef Dean!

From start to finish, the entire evening was filled with joy, flavor, and meaningful connection. Chef Dean is not just incredibly talented in the kitchen—he’s a natural storyteller and teacher. As he guided us in preparing each dish, he walked us through the process with such ease and passion, explaining techniques, ingredients, and even sprinkling in fascinating stories from his culinary journey. We learned so much about Asian cuisine—its diversity, cultural significance, and the personal favorites that inspire Chef Dean’s creations. It wasn’t just a meal—it was a rich, immersive experience that left us not only full, but truly fulfilled. Chef Fumiko had everything terrifically organized in her well equipped kitchen. She accommodated our food preferences in her menu. She taught us, included us in the preparations and had well documented, easy to read recipes for us to take home. Her experience and professionalism shine through. Highly recommend. Excellent experience. If you are looking for a personal chef who will walk through making a 5 course meal for you and you partner, Chef Dean is the way to go. His meals are only for couples or small groups. This means that all the time and focus is on making sure you are having a great experience (he is getting less money than other chef out there!). Chef Dean is in Everett, so we had to reschedule because of work and fighting through traffic. But he was gracious and worked with us, and I am so glad it worked out. Great experience.

We took Chef Washington’s Southern Classics course and were thoroughly impressed! We asked him to modify the dishes to be vegetarian and he came up with some thoughtful alternatives to the recipes. The food was great and his instruction was very helpful. Would recommend!

We had a great time at our cooking experience. We felt very welcome in his home, and the food was fantastic. The chicken adobo was amazingly flavorful. We wished we would have been able to help with a little bit more of the prep work, but understand that there is not time for everything. We loved that we were able to bring the recipes home, and we look forward to recreating them at home. Thank you to Chef Washington and Jane for a great experience.

Had a great time! The food was AMAZING and the hosts/chefs were so friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. He offers 24 different types of classes as well, so we’ll be back for another class to learn a different type of cuisine. Overall, it was a great experience and successful date night. I would highly recommend this class—the food was outstandingly delicious!!

Received this experience as a gift, didn’t know what to expect but had such a good time. It’s like cooking with family. Chef gave directions as we worked through preparation and then sat together to eat. This was in his home. So welcoming and comfortable. You will see us again.

I was worried at first thinking that entering someone's house for a cooking class would be awkward. But it felt very relaxed and welcoming in Chef Washington's home. Don't hesitate to book an experience with Chef Washington. We did his Rush of Spanish Flavors class and it was incredibly fun, engaging and also tasty. He ensured everyone was involved, taught us lessons along the way and kept enquiring on our experience as the night went along to ensure we were all having a good time. 10/10 I will book again.

Chef Andrea was very personable. We loved the stories of how he learned his father's recipes and passes them on to his clients. The gnocchi and sauce recipes will be used by all of us. They were delicious...as well as the appetizer, salad and cake. We loved everything.

First Cozymeal experience, and my bf and I really enjoyed our time with Chef Washington! He provided with aprons and name tags, took time to do introductions and share fun facts, then he walked through the menu. I was really excited for this class as I haven't dabbled in cooking French cuisine, and his kindness and approachability made it much easier to jump in. It was just the three of us in the kitchen, and Chef Washington was very good at checking in, gauging our interests, delegating, and supporting. With a small group, we were all staying busy and it was really engaging to cook. He gave us tips and tricks along the way for cooking and we chatted throughout the night about life, interests, and food. The meal was so good and it was rewarding that we helped cook it. The chicken fricassee and mushroom gravy were absolutely delicious. The chicken fell right off the bone. We also made an extra dish, as he made the pate ahead of time due to the time constraints. I loved the pate; while basic ingredients, the labor of love and technique to build flavor was evident here. YUM. This exceeded any expectation I had. Thanks for hosting us, Chef Washington! Tips: - bring a water bottle and stay hydrated throughout the experience. Chef offered us bottled water he had in the fridge, but even with 3 of us, we were losing track of which bottle was whose. - bring your own to-go containers, in case you have any leftovers you'd like to take. Chef generously gave one of his big containers and some ziplocs.

Chef Shinya was informative, funny and great to work with. He shared some cooking techniques that I will definitely be using in my kitchen at home. Chef also sat down with us and gave us really good recommendations for places to eat in Tokyo/Seattle areas.

The chef was not only an highly talented instructor (you need patience with me LOL) but he was so efficient in everything that the kitchen was spotless again once the meal was done! This is a must do class! Do not think about it, DO IT!! I did this with my 4 best friends for my birthday. Chef Shinya in short is absolutely amazing! The cooking class with Chef Shinya was excellent! His explanations were very thorough and easy to follow. The food was delicious, and the cultural background he gave on udon and its many varieties was great. After Shinya's cooking class I feel like I can add homemade udon into my regular rotation of dinner recipes. It was a really fun night, and I would highly recommend his classes!

My fiancée Riley and I had an incredible time cooking and learning from Chef Fumiko. The kitchen was great, she guided us really well through the menu, and offered helpful suggestions for how we can continue our learning with Japanese vegan cuisine. I also appreciated how Chef Fumiko made the experience accessible. I am hard of hearing and wear a hearing aid, so places with a lot of background noise, etc. can be difficult for me. It meant SO MUCH that Chef Fumiko had speakers set up around the kitchen and used a headset microphone. I didn't have to lean on Riley to repeat things I'd missed, so I got to really just enjoy the experience overall. Absolutely would recommend this experience for others!
