What You’ll Do

Discover the art of sushi rolling with fresh vegetables and fun flavors kids will love.

Introduce kids to the joy of Japanese cuisine in this hands-on kids' cooking class focused on sushi making. Guided by Chef Washington, young chefs will discover how to transform simple ingredients into colorful and tasty rolls perfect for sharing.

They’ll learn to spread, roll and shape sushi using fresh vegetables and fruit fillings like cucumber, avocado and mango. Kids will decorate their rolls with sesame seeds for a fun finishing touch before enjoying their handmade creations. A delightful dessert provided by the chef rounds out this playful, creative class that blends food and imagination.

A minimum of one adult is required to be in attendance per group. Adults are required to purchase tickets in addition to kids. This class is recommended for ages 5-15.

We cooked an amazing Italian 4 course meal. My favorite thing was learning the tidbits of cooking and feeling like I was in a safe inclusive environment. It was clean, intimate and I really enjoyed this unique experience. Chef L was a big part of the reason it was great, he was funny, smart, & made things simple and enjoyable.

The Mediterranean cuisine that we cooked was absolutely delicious. There was so much flavor. Chef Washington not only showed us some valuable cooking skills, but was outgoing and engaging throughout the process. I highly recommend taking a cooking class with Chef Washington. You won’t regret it.

This was a very fun experience given to me by my daughter as a Christmas gift. We cooked Mediterranean fare and ate like Queens. This was a fun cooking lesson and a delicious meal. This would be a great girls night out or even a date night for a couple. I learned a lot of delicious ways to flavor my food with spices instead of salt.
