Craft authentic tacos from scratch in this engaging online team building cooking class. Chef Jennifer will guide your group through recipes made from scratch. Begin by making homemade corn tortillas with masa harina, and a filling from smoky black beans and sweet potatoes that's studded with garlic and cumin. Build your tacos and top them with pickled red onions for a bit of crispy, sweet and salty flavor. Finally, bond with your team while enjoying your Mexican feast.

1 teaspoon salt + sugar
¼ cup vinegar
1/3 cup olive or any cooking oil
1 bunch fresh cilantro (optional, for serving)

Assorted mixing bowls
Medium saucepan, for beans
Large flat griddle, cast iron, or nonstick pan, for toasting tortillas
1 baking sheet or large roasting pan, for sweet potatoes
Parchment paper, waxed paper, or a gallon-sized Ziploc bag for pressing tortillas
1 flat pie plate or something to flatten tortillas with (unless you have a tortilla press!)
