Cooking Class - A Beginner's Guide to Vietnamese Fare

Learn the basics and simplicity of fresh ingredients coming together to form quintessential Vietnamese dishes.

In this hands-on class, Chef Jared teaches on a unique and exotic cuisine containing a brilliant balance of aromatics, heat, sweetness, sourness, and fish-sauciness.

Vietnamese cuisine maintains its own identity, but is also an amalgamation of exciting eats from neighboring countries and its French colonial past. Chef Jared will teach you the basics, including how to prepare a bánh mì and roll perfectly bouncy summer rolls filled with crunchy vegetables, shrimp or tofu, and a perfect side of peanut sauce. And for dessert, a show-stopping topical banana brûlée.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Jared was amazing! He customized his menu to accommodate dietary needs. The food was great! He was laid back and was open to including us as little or as much as we wanted in the cooking. He had some awesome homemade hot sauces and other little treats we tried along the way. We had great conversation - he has a super interesting story! We would definitely book again!!!
