In this hands-on class, Chef Mel shows you how to take your favorite takeout dishes and give them a healthy makeover at home. Focusing on blending flavors from Thai and Chinese cuisines, you will learn the skills and techniques to create three healthier versions of takeout favorites.
After learning a few tips on technique and choosing produce seasonally, you will begin creating everything from Asian chicken lettuce wraps to Thai sweet potato noodles with baked tofu and even vegetable fried rice. You will also create all of your own Asian sauces.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
