In this hands-on class, you will discover the best seafood from the local New Jersey waters with the incredibly talented Chef Mario. You will learn about what species are available, and when and how best to purchase the freshest fish from local sources.
After an introduction to basic cooking techniques to bring out the best flavors, such as sautéing, pan searing, and steaming, you will prepare a menu filled with fresh scallops from Cape May and clams from Sea Isle City, as well as flounder and striped bass.
