In this hands-on class, Chef Mario hosts as you learn how to create those highly sought after French flavors in his inspired four-course menu.
Begin by brewing a soul-warming French onion soup complete with warm, toasty baguettes. The main event features a perfectly roasted and impossibly tender pork loin topped with a velvety dijon cream sauce and sided by crispy charred brussels sprouts wonderfully complemented by the bursting zing of cranberries. Lastly, a creamy, slightly sweet carrot risotto sets up your palate for the ultimate French dessert: creme brûlée.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I had a great time with Chef Mario! His home was very welcoming and perfect for a date night. He explained all of his cooking techniques in a way that anyone could understand. My favorite dish was the Pork Tenderloin with the curried sweet potato puree and yogurt sauce!

From line cook to linebackers, Chef Mario’s culinary career has been on the up and up ever since he discovered his passion for cooking. His resume boasts experience as a dietary cook for the Denver Broncos as well as a sous chef for the St. Louis Cardinals. When he’s not hosting inventive, entertaining cooking classes, Chef Mario can be found using his epicurean imagination in the kitchen at The Adagio Bud and Breakfast in Denver.
