Cooking Class - Vegetarian Indian Delights

Learn a variety of vegetarian Indian dishes from Chef Sara.

In this Indian cooking class, Chef Sara will teach you to prepare three delicious vegetarian Indian dishes. From her rich and flavorful Palak Paneer (puréed spinach with fresh cheese) to her spiced and warming Masoor Dal (lentils with spices), each of Chef Sara's dishes are classic, delicious, and easy to learn. The class is completely hands-on, so you'll be able to smell, feel, and taste the whole process.

Spice levels can be adjusted to guests' personal preferences. Guests will leave with the knowledge of how to prepare these delicious dishes at home, as well as a recipe book to remember how to make them.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I have been teaching Indian Cooking for over 30 years. When I first came to the United States, I noticed that restaurants prepared traditional Indian dishes using artificial flavoring and additives. I've chosen to educate both experienced and beginner cooks regarding the importance of whole food ingredients, the impact that these make on the final product, and the tasteful reward of the labor. I look forward to teaching you how to cut, chop, mince, and mix your first set of Indian dishes.
