Cooking Class - Winter Cooking Under Pressure

Learn how to use a pressure cooker to prepare a menu of winter comfort foods.

In this seasonal hands-on class, Chef Polina will show you how to master the electric pressure cooker to prepare a menu of winter comfort foods. You will learn how to steam, roast, braise, and bake a three-course menu of warming winter fares.

Begin with the techniques necessary to meld contrasting, yet complementary flavors in a mixed green salad with roasted beets and oranges. You will then choose which entrée you prefer, depending which particular skills you are interested in mastering. End the night with warm, gooey baked apples.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Polina was wonderful. She was very patient with our 7 and 9 year olds; indulged them in telling her their stories. She worked with ease and answered many of our questions about cooking.
