Cooking Class - RETIRED: The Perfect Neapolitan (thin-crust) Pizza... San Francisco Style !

What You’ll Do

Writer to create

Learn how to make a delicious pizza, from dough to done!

Whether thick crust or thin, vegetarian or meat, oven baked or wood-fired, eating the perfect pie can be life changing! And re-creating your favorite restaurant pie at home has eluded many of the best home chefs. Until now.

In this unique class, Chef Cat will take you on a step-by-step journey to demystify the art of making the perfect dough with that little extra bit of flavor, using a naturally fermented, wild-yeast sourdough starter. You’ll learn every step of the process, from mixing, balling, stretching, shaping, to baking the final product: a deliciously light, crisp bite with serious flavor and chew, plus the secretly healthy LABs (lactic acid bacteria) present in naturally fermented dough. The real pizzaiolo deal!! Plus you'll leave with your own levain and the knowledge -and recipes- to continue firing the perfect pizza at home. Wine and beer will also be available for purchase.

Note for Content Team: I will be teaching at a large venue with room for up to 16 people in a public class, and up to 30 people for corporate team building. This will be a public class with at least 8 participants from combined listings. Please disregard the minimum and maximum number of guests indicated below (required for submission)

It was a lot of fun to be in an an actual commercial bakery kitchen. The class was fun, informative, and we had a chance to eat what we made. It was a wonderful experience!
