Cooking Class - Fusion Adventure: Chinese and Indian

Two cultures come together to form a fusion experience like none other!

As varied and rich as the peoples that inhabit each country, Chinese and Indian cuisine share attributes that complement each other very well. Your gourmet guide, Chef Teena, is a culinary artist that is passionate about teaching and is always finding new ways to innovate with unique recipes that inspire and delight students.

In Chef Teena’s class, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in a veritable cornucopia of menu items that feature among the finest in fusion and beyond. Moreover, you will learn how every individual ingredient contributes to the overall flavor of each dish to form an irresistible blending of influences.

If your class is under the minimum, Chef Teena is available to host for an upgrade fee. Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Teena is a total pro. She and her team managed the chaos of the group cooking experience extremely well, and were just fantastic to work with. This was a very well-organized and super fun team-building experience. Plus the food was delicious. 11/10 would do this again.

She has over 20 years of experience in the food industry and has taught all over the Bay Area, including at Stanford and with Whole Foods. She strives to empower others to cook vegetarian food at home and always makes cooking experiences memorable, fun and educational. Chef Teena enjoys making balanced, nutritious, seasonal cuisine that showcases natural and robust flavors with the breadth of the Indian spice pantry.
