A sophisticated cooking lesson with a dash of incredibly inspiring culinary history
Learn how to prepare gourmet meals that are inspired by Chef Fernand Point, the godfather of nouvelle cuisine, who also trained seven of the eighteen 3 Michelin Star rated chefs. In this cooking class, Chef Nick will give you a one of a kind gourmet experience that will include the history and background of Chef Point. Be prepared to go beyond basic cooking!
Begin by learning how to construct the perfect fried egg, known as Oeufs Sur Le Plat. For your next course, you will learn how to perfectly poach sole with hollandaise. For your main course the classic French dish roasted homestyle chicken is on the menu, complete with scrumptious sides. Chef Nick guides you in roasting the chicken to perfection, and making your presentation absolutely divine. For dessert, there is nothing quite like Viennese crepes. Chef Nick shows you how crushed macaroons and orange zest can make these crepes divine.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Nick was absolutely amazing! From the moment he came into the door he fit right in with my partner and I. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and professional, and we couldn’t recommend him enough. I've rediscovered french toast after eating Chef Nicholas' "tipsy" interpretation of this popular classic--very decadent! A chef who knows his food and has no problem sharing his knowledge to you as he shows you how to break apart roasted duck, make a roulade using fish, or the basic techniques of French cuisine.

For the last 7 years he has taken his cumulative expertise to the classroom, where he shares his passion for local agriculture and quality, nutritionally dense foods with future chefs.
