Cooking Class - Home-style Fajita Night

What You’ll Do

From homemade tortillas and guacamole to carne asada and elotes, this is authentic Mexican cuisine.

Set the standard for fajita night with a flavorful upgrade in this hands-on Mexican cooking class. Led by a skilled chef, you’ll master four traditional recipes, including the ultimate guacamole used as a dip or condiment. Then, learn to grill marinated carne asada for sizzling fajitas assembled with hand-pressed corn tortillas made from scratch. Complete your fiesta with char-grilled Mexican street corn coated in lime, cotija and chiles.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


Chef Michael emigrated to the U.S. from Romania with his family at the age of seven. He followed his family's culinary interests and found joy in the kitchen, with his grandmother and his parents leading the way. After working in various restaurants through high school and beyond, he developed a taste for finer cuisine. His resume grew to include event catering as well as teaching cooking classes, for which Chef Michael holds an abiding passion.

Chef Michael and his crew had a terrific set up for us for the challenges related to making croissants. We had a lot of fun. We are far more confident trying this at home. Worth the money and time- would repeat or provide as a gift to close friends.
