Embark on a journey of culinary discovery with Chef Jeff
With origins in Japan that go back generations, sashimi and sushi compliment each other in terms of making a variety of delectable courses possible. Sushi is the rice on which raw seafood along with other ingredients are served, while sashimi refers to the raw fish itself, thinly sliced. Experience for yourself Chef Jeff in action while he demonstrates the preparation process and special techniques that come with over 25 years of culinary experience.
Your first course comprises a luscious albacore poke salad, savory blue crab California rolls, and refreshing "naruto style" protein rolls. For your second course, indulge in salmon nigiri sushi and shrimp nigiri sushi that burst with flavor. The experience draws to a close with succulent ahi sashimi and delectable yellowtail sashimi.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Jeff was fantastic! Our group thoroughly enjoyed the experience and Jeff was a great teacher.
I was traditionally trained as a chef and had 8 years experience before starting my own business. Now, having been a sushi chef for over 25 years here in San Diego, my passion is still making sushi. Having fun and energy throughout the course of the meal is how I enjoy this side of the business.
