Cooking Class - A Portuguese Feast of Bold Flavors

What You’ll Do

Prepare a Portuguese feast with authentic dishes from piri piri chicken to pastel de nata.

In this hands-on cooking class, you'll take a culinary trip to Portugal and explore the region's bold, fresh flavors. You'll learn to make perfectly spiced piri piri chicken, crispy potato croquettes with a luscious bite and a refreshing fennel and orange salad with Spanish olives and a tangy sherry vinaigrette. For a sweet finale, you'll craft the iconic pastel de nata, brûléed custard tarts with a caramelized sugar crust.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

I Enjoyed this class so much! It was my first time, and the Teacher/ Chef and her Sous Chef made me feel so welcomed. I learned so much and had no trouble with anything due to the Chefs excellent explanation and teaching skills. I highly recommend this or any upcoming classes. Will definitely be back!

Chef Devin was truly a treat to work with. Did the Fresh Mediterranean Flavors: Falafel to Baklava vegetarian class with him. He gave several options/adjustments that are helpful in our personal cooking experiences. I truly appreciated this insight, feedback, and improvisations. Those little gems of knowledgeable are more valuable than preparing the receipe. I would love to see more vegetarian cooking classes offered, esp involving beans, nutritional acumen, meaning a meal considering protein, mineral consumption, etc.
