Summer is all about grilling for friends and family. But too often these dining experiences end in disaster with dinners that are either under or overcooked. Join Chef Chericia to learn foolproof techniques for perfect, tender and tasty seafood grilling.

In this two and a half hour class you will make a succulent grilled corn and shrimp salad with avocado vinagrette. Then you will make fresh, tender, grilled salmon with a honey balsamic glaze. Finally you will prepare grilled oysters with a delicious herb butter and grilled crostini. The perfect menu for summer.

Guests are welcome to bring beer and wine to enjoy with the meal.

I had the pleasure of attending Chef Chericia's cooking class during our trip to Washington, DC. Chericia is a very knowledgable, kind, and super fun teacher. Her knowledge, technique, and general approach to showing you how to prepare a delicious seafood meal is just great and she makes everything fun at the same time. We prepared the balsamic-glazed salmon and the grilled oysters and simply loved it. If you are looking for a good chef in Washington DC who can show you how to prepare good seafood (especially grilled seafood), then Chef Chericia is your chef.
