Pack up your picnic basket with festive handheld bites perfect for an outdoor concert, a trip to the park, or an elegant night of appetizers al fresco. Chef Anja’s culinary aesthetic is French Californian, combining the sophistication and techniques of French cuisine with fresh California flavors and ingredients.
Chef Anja’s picnic menu starts with a twist on the classic bruschetta that uses tender brie, sundried tomatoes, and fresh basil. For the next course, lemon and tarragon bring out the rich flavor of smoked salmon and ripe tomatoes while spinach, pine nuts, and gorgonzola add a unique spin to the quesadilla. Prosciutto wrapped dates and chocolate covered strawberries studded with Himalayan salt crystals end the meal with a sumptuous pairing of salty and sweet.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy. For classes hosted at the Mission location, a $10 corkage fee is charged on-site by the venue.
