Cooking Class - Springtime at the Farmer’s Market

Ring in spring with a light, fresh menu inspired by seasonal farmer’s market produce

Spring is all about regrowth, and in this class Chef Marisa will show you her tricks to getting the most out of the season while it’s still abloom. The versatile menu is perfect to recreate at home for an al fresco lunch with friends, or to whip up for a special occasion.

Start off with sweet and savory roasted tomato and goat cheese tarts topped with a delicate drizzle of honey. Chef Marisa will then walk you through the creation of a quintessentially spring salad made with spicy watercress and crisp endive. The main course is a fresh salmon filet grilled on a plank of cedar, and set off with homemade tarragon-chive green goddess sauce and airy mustard whipped potatoes. For dessert, fluffy Meyer lemon custard cakes topped with a seasonal berry coulis.

This class is partially hands-on. Guests are invited to bring their own beverages.
